Is the film adhered to the inside or outside of the window?
In most residential applications the film is adhered to the inside.
Will the film stop the heat?
Yes it will, up to 73% with certain films.
Do I need to prepare anything before installation?
The only requirement we ask is that the work area is clear for us to tint.
Is there a difference between safety and security film?
Safety film is best suited for glass sliding doors or windows in the home to help in the prevention of injury to children or the elderly should they fall into them. Safety film is usually three times thicker than solar films, whereas security film is 7 times thicker. This application is more suited for defence against break-ins.
Will the film save me energy and money?
Yes, there are statistics that prove reducing heat passing through glass in summer will reduce load on air conditioners.
Can I use the windows straight away?
Residential windows yes, automotive windows on the other hand can not be used for up to 48 hours.
